    2Checkout Vs. PaySystems

    Hello,

We are considering a 3rd party payment proccessor and it has come down to PaySystems and 2Checkout.

I am leaning towards PaySystems for their 800 support, which 2Checkout doesn't have. Their rates are the same, and I like think PaySystems is better.

Please post in the poll, and if possible only poll if you have been both.

    Thanks!

Paysystems.com are very good. We're having an issue right now with a large batch of recurrings that didn't recurr. But other than that, it's been smooth sailing.

I heard PaySystems has something you have to fax in or a contract or what ever, is this true?

    Thanks!

Yes, this is true. There is a multipage contract which you must sign and fax in. They also request copies of your ID and business checks.

When does Paysystems require the fax?

I signed up with them and have a "test account", yet have not received any request for a fax yet.

What about 2checkout.com? Do they require me to sign and fax stuff? Or just pay the?

Also, can I use PaySystems with my own SSL and scripts etc, or do my visitors have to visit their site to proccess the cc?

    Thanks!

They don't require to fax anything.

    * Paysystems requests that you fax in the signed contract after you have paid the signup fee. They may only do this with IBA accounts and not IMA accounts (use their merchant account versus having your own.)

    * You can use their client management system, or your own.

    * As far as I know, visitors must visit their site to process the credit card.

We haven't had very much luck with 2CheckOut, payments are typically released 1 to 3 weeks later than they should be. We've since moved everything over to PaySystems, so far so good.

We're with 2checkout, and we have had a recent issue with them, its been a week and we have not approched anywhere and are still in the same spot due to their very slow responses and actions.

If you have just a few transactions to take care of they are fine, however for more complicated accounts I dont think they can handle it.

    Regards,

I just got an account with 2CO and so far, everything is good. Our money was deposited just as expected.
